Job Title: Trainer – Data Analytics

Location: Hybrid (Nairobi & Remote)

Engagement: Part-Time / Contractual

Reporting to: Lead Trainer, Learnly Africa

Role Overview​

We are looking for a dynamic and knowledgeable trainer to facilitate two of our flagship programs:

  • HR Analytics Masterclass

  • Data Analytics Masterclass

 

As a trainer, you will be responsible for delivering impactful sessions, mentoring participants, and adapting practical content to suit diverse learning styles and course objectives.

 

Key Responsibilities​

  • Deliver engaging, hands-on training via Zoom, in-person sessions, and through LMS platforms (e.g., Canvas).

  • Facilitate learning using real datasets, case studies, interactive dashboards, and project-based assignments.

  • Customize course content to suit different cohorts, industries, and learning preferences.​

  • Train participants in tools such as Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and optionally, Python or SQL.

  • Support learners during self-paced modules, providing timely responses and guidance.

  • Assess learning outcomes through quizzes, assignments, and group activities.

  • Offer mentorship and individualized support to help participants meet learning goals.

  • Collaborate with the Learnly team to improve curriculum delivery and track program outcomes.
     

Qualifications and Experience

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, IT, or a related discipline.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years delivering training in HR analytics, data analytics, or business intelligence tools.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI (required).

  • Familiarity with SQL and/or Python (added advantage).

  • Strong grasp of HR metrics and workforce analytics (for HR Analytics track).

Other Requirements:

  • Experience in hybrid learning environments (Zoom, Canvas, Slack, etc.).

  • Excellent facilitation, communication, and mentorship skills.

  • A learner-centric approach with the ability to simplify complex topics.

 

Compensation

 

To be discussed based on experience and engagement level.
